Documents for Registration

For electricity bill waiver registration all farmers must have 10 digit account number of electricity bill. If you don’t have 10 digit account number then you can get it immediately by calling 1912 toll free number of electricity bill.

Benefits of Bijli Bill Mafi Scheme

• Under this scheme, bills of more than Rs 200 of people from economically weaker sections will be written off.
• This scheme is for 2 kW or less electricity consumers only.
• You should use only one fan, one tube light, TV and some light electronic devices in your home.
• People using devices of more than 1000 watts cannot avail this scheme.
• Government wants to write off bills of about 1.70 crore poor families so that their burden can be reduced.

Eligibility for Bijli Mafi Scheme

• You should be from Uttar Pradesh.
• You should have BPL ration card.
• Your electricity consumption should be 2 kW or less.
• No electronic equipment above 1000 watts should be in your home.

Registration Process

All farmers should do Kisan Vidyut Bill Mafi registration as soon as possible.

• To apply for Uttar Pradesh Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana, go to electricity bill official website.
• On the home page you will find Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana Registration, click on it.
• After clicking a new page will open in front of you where you will have to enter your district and your account number and captcha code given below.
• After that click on Check eligibility.
• If you are eligible for this scheme an application form will open in front of you.
• Now fill all the details asked in this form and upload all the documents.
• After that click on submit.
• After submission you will get a receipt on which your application number will be written, keep it safe.
• If application is accepted your electricity bill will be cancelled.

Check Your Name in List

If your bill is waived then you will get a message on your registered mobile number. But if you want to see Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana List then you have to follow the process below:

• First go to Uttar Pradesh Electricity Corporation website.
• Then on the home page you will see Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana option, click on it.
• As soon as you click you will see the electricity bill waiver scheme list.
• Now you can see the names of those people in it whose electricity bill has been waived.
